Even if himself hadn’t noticed, he had his gaze fixed on her for several minutes before Padmé decided to cut off her pole dancing a bit to say something. “I’ve never seen you here before.” And she wouldn’t forget such a beautiful face. “My friend’s band is playing tonight.” He explained and smiled confidently at her, which the girl considered funny as the rest of his features looked so childish, youth. “You’re Obi-Wan’s friend.” It wasn’t a question, she knew he was. That Obi-Wan was a good guy but he was always making odd friends, that’s probably why he befriended her, she thought. “You work here?” The boy asked, nerves got him a little bit, at least she could tell that from his voice. Maybe he was afraid of the answer? But why would he? “I dance here.” Apparently, the emphasis was needed for her. There was a clear difference between a dancer and a whore. Then she walked off the stage and stood in front of him, even wearing high-heels he was way taller than her but Padmé didn’t think it was a flaw, not at all. “I’m Anakin.” He said and she would swear his grin grew wider. “Padmé.” And she would be lying if she said she didn’t smile as well, too bad she had to leave now. “I’ll see you around, Ani.” The nickname was stupid and made him feel like al little boy, but while he saw her walking away, he didn’t care about the nick or even pay attention to that part of her sentence but the first part, she had said they would see each other again. Kind of.
